Advent Ideas and Resources to Reflect on the Birth of Christ with Children
(For Groups, Churches & Schools)

The aim of this resource is to encourage reflection and celebration as your group, school or church explores the Christmas story. With a focus for 3 weeks leading up to Christmas, it includes:

• Month-to-view calendar for December to aid your planning
• Prayer focus for each week
• Selected Bible passages which tell the Christmas story over 3 weeks*
• Questions to reflect on the passages & aid discussion
• Memory verse, copywork and picture prompt sheets
• Character cut-outs to act out the story
• A variety of activities for each week including a board game, wordsearch, Nativity inspired treasure hunt and more!

Suggested age range: 4 – 10 years, although older children may still enjoy it! There are some ‘Questions for Further Exploration’ at the end of the resource which would be suitable for older children.

*You will need a Bible to read the selected passages, alternatively you will be able to find the passages online.
